Karel is an Amsterdam sensation. With his first EP “Life” (on Job Jobse’s label) sold out, his second, “The Work” released on Magnetron, won’t disappoint. He has a unique John Maus-like sound, moulding 80s synth-pop and wave into one delicious delivery. Last year he played at the Dutch festival, Down the Rabbit Hole, where he was reviewed in the top 3 after Nick Cave & David Byrne.
